Ahsoka Walked Away... But She Still Chose the Light
The story in the song
This original song is written as a tribute to Ahsoka Tano - the warrior who walked away from the Jedi Order without walking away from the light. "I Am No Jedi" is a cinematic Star Wars tribute about betrayal, war, identity, and the choice to keep doing what is right even after faith in an institution is broken.
From the temple trial to Mandalore, from Order 66 to the shadow Anakin became, this song follows Ahsoka as a survivor shaped by loss but never owned by it. It is not a song about abandoning the light. It is a song about choosing it without permission.

Lyrics
Temple dust in my lungs again
Council doors close like rain
Fourteen, thrown where the gunships screamed
A borrowed war, a broken dream
They called it duty, called me brave
Till truth looked back and found no faith
If the crest is gone, the flame remains
If the rank is ash, I keep my name
I am no Jedi
But the light still chose me
White fire, midnight
I won't let it own me
I walked away, not from the truth
Not from the broken, not from you
I am no Jedi
But I still choose
Mandalore burned under split-black skies
Rex heard the order and so did I
Then my old master wore the dark
And carved his shadow through my heart
I'm not the Council's verdict
I'm what survives the fall
When every false thing shatters
The light still wants it all
I am no Jedi
But the light still chose me
No throne, no temple
Can take what it showed me
I walked away, not from the truth
Not from the wounded, not from what we knew
I am no Jedi
But I still choose
